CBSE AFFILIATION COMMITTEE VISIT ST MARY’S SCHOOL Watch Video

The extension of CBSE affiliation inspection was conducted on 25th June 2019 in St. Mary’s English School. The Correspondent, Principal Vice Principal along with the school band welcomed the Inspector Mr. Benny Joseph member of the CBSE affiliation Committee and also the Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidhyalaya, Balahonnur, at the main entrance of the school. The school assembly was conducted. The Principal Rev Fr. Johnson Sequeira welcomed the gathering and the students and guests present. School management committee was present on the occasion. Floral welcome was done by the students. The children performed a welcome dance. A mime show on conservation of water was presented. Mr. Benny Joseph the Inspector of the day addressed the students and stressed to train their minds with positive thoughts and to teachers to train the present day children with problem solving skills and to create responsible, disciplined and committed students. Correspondent Rev Father Valerian Mendonca gave the presidential speech. Vice Principal Mrs. Rita Quadros ended the formal welcome with a vote of thanks. Mrs. Eunice Anchan was the Master of Ceremony. Inspector Mr. Benny Joseph was delighted by the welcome given to him

Later he visited the class rooms from LKG to 12th standard. He observed the teaching of the teachers in the class rooms. The teaching quality, curriculum, learners’ achievements and students’ welfare were all rated as excellent. We are especially proud to learn that he expressed great satisfaction with our school during the inspection.

In his feedback and in his words the Inspector reported “It was a delightful experience to spend one day seeing the activities of St. May’s English Medium School, Kannarpady Udupi. Students are highly disciplined and groomed with strong values and social commitment. I appreciate the dedication and diligence of the staff and vision of the management to make a strong society and Nation with strong citizens.”

As Head of the department the Principal was very proud of the report, and appreciated everyone for all their hard work and support.
